Research lines:
(i) Biomechanics of locomotion, aimed at prevention and rehabilitation in different populations (responsible). Areas involved: medicine and physiology, health, physical education, physiotherapy, biological engineering;
ii) Biomechanics of sport: analysis of movement and sport performance (responsible). Areas involved: physical education, sport physiology, medicine, health, biological engineering;
iii) Coordination and mechanical efficiency of cyclic and acyclic movements, symmetric and asymmetric patterns, synergies and motor control (collaborator). Areas involved: medicine and physiology, health, physical education, physiotherapy, biological engineering.
iv) Effects of intervention on the fascial system: physical performance, prevention and rehabilitation (lead). Areas involved: physical education, physiotherapy, sports medicine and physiology, health, biological engineering.
Working area
My areas of work include biomechanics and physiology of human movement, applied to movement as a task, rehabilitation, health prevention, health promotion and performance.
Research already carried out includes human locomotion, sports and rehabilitation.
