Research in virology and molecular genetics applied to pathogens of veterinary importance, with an emphasis on the study of avian infectious bursal disease virus.
Working area
My work focuses on the development and application of molecular biology techniques, genomic sequencing, and bioinformatic analysis for the genetic and functional characterization of viruses that affect the health of domestic and production animals. This includes the design and validation of diagnostic methodologies and epidemiological studies, as well as animal experimentation work in birds.
