Research interests

My three key research interests are:
1) Bee Health: Pesticides, Microbiota and Pathogens.
2) Honey bee Brood: Pre-imaginal Development, Physiology and Behaviour.
3) Metamorphosis and Eusociality: Semiochemicals, Cooperative Brood Care and Developmental Plasticity.

Working area

I ​​work in bee biology. Since 2012, I have carried out physiology, behavior and toxicology studies in the bee Apis mellifera. Currently, I coordinate a coworking group at the Latin American Society for Bee Research (SOLATINA) where I promote toxicological studies on native bees in the region.
