TÍTULO: MAX-DOAS Semi-blind Intercomparison campaign CINDI3

RESUMEN: During May/ June 2024, a large inter-comparison campaign of MAX (Multi AXis) -DOAS (Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy) type instruments took place in Cabauw, the Netherlands, named CINDI-3 (third Cabauw INtercomparison campaign of Doas type Instruments). More than 30 MAX-DOAS instruments participated in the campaign which was also accompanied by many ancillary measurements such as from ozone-sonds, ceilometer measurements as well as insitu measurements at the surface, on a tower and on an aircraft.

In this seminar, I will start with giving a very brief introduction of the (MAX-)DOAS technique in order to set the scene and introduce the vocabulary used during the seminar. Instead of giving a general overview of the whole CINDI-3 campaign, I will concentrate directly on the inter-comparison of MAX-DOAS elevation scan measurements. During the course of the presentation of the data evaluation, I will also briefly touch on the advantages of using centralized processing, such as implemented by the FRM (Fiducial Reference Measurements)-4DOAS project.
