Presentation
The PEDECIBA Master's Degree in Bioinformatics is an inherently interdisciplinary postgraduate program.
It offers training that covers knowledge and skills in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Statistics, and other exact sciences, in an integrated way. These skills include the development of computer tools for solving biological problems, as well as for the processing, analysis, and interpretation of experimental data from a biological perspective using proper bioinformatics tools. Technological advances have led science to a new era where the management and interpretation of large volumes of data is an essential tool for conducting quality research. That is why training human resources in this area is fundamental for the future of our country.
Taking into account their undergrad training and the curricular choices that each student makes during their studies, the profile of each graduate will have specific characteristics. In any case, they will share several common aptitudes, which gives the group of graduates of the program a joint profile.
