Working area
My main interest is the study of the astrocyte-motoneuron relationship, focusing primarily on RNA metabolism. We have observed that motoneurons treated with exosomes from SOD1G93A astrocytes exhibit reduced survival (Marton et al., 2023). Currently, we are interested in investigating whether SOD1G93A astrocytes can induce changes in the neuronal gene expression profile that could explain the decreased survival.
