Molecular Bases of Plant Defense Responses Against Pathogenic Microorganisms.Objectives:
1- Identification and functional analysis of genes and metabolites involved in plant resistance to pathogenic microorganisms.
2- Transcriptomic studies of defense-related genes in plants and virulence genes of pathogens during the interaction.
3- Analysis of plant resistance mechanisms to diseases caused by phytopathogens in order to enhance resistance by activating intrinsic defense mechanisms
